OLIVER DREAM Association

I’ve been fortunate enough to experience incredible adventures through my passion for cars.
One such adventure led me to realize the necessity of creating an association dedicated to children with physical disabilities:

I was nineteen, speeding along the banks of Paris on my Kawasaki motorbike. Racing down the left lane, a car suddenly veered into my path and crashed into me. I was thrown forward, hitting the car’s dashboard.

By some miracle, I escaped with only a broken collarbone. No one else was hurt. Some time later, during a check-up at Garches hospital, I arrived early and sat on a bench in the hospital garden, overwhelmed by existential questions.

The weight of not yet having found my place in life lifted when I was suddenly snapped out of my thoughts by the sound of children laughing.
Looking up, I saw their bright, beaming faces.

They were no older than ten or twelve, seated in wheelchairs, joyfully playing ball. Their happiness was overwhelming. Watching them, I couldn’t help but think, with shame, that if I were in their position, I might not have the will to live. Once back home, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and realized how lucky I truly was.

It became clear to me that a meaningful life isn’t found in self-absorption but in our ability to connect with others. It’s in the capacity to play, to marvel, to be fully present – much like my friends and I are when united by our shared passion for cars.

Whenever I felt lost or uncertain about my path, I would return to that bench at Garches. Visiting those children became a pilgrimage of sorts, one that brought me clarity and a renewed desire to live.

In gratitude to them, for inspiring in me a love for life, I founded the OLIVER DREAM association.

TOUR DE PRINTEMPS

Dear Friends, Drivers, Co-Drivers, Collectors, Enthusiasts, Amateurs—members of this cherished community I hold dear,
It is with immense joy and emotion that I share the realization of a dream I’ve nurtured for many years: the inaugural TOUR DE PRINTEMPS, organized by the OLIVER DREAM association, took place in 2020.

The TOUR DE PRINTEMPS is dedicated to raising funds to improve mobility and recreational access for children with psychomotor disabilities.

This event will be held annually every March. It features a driving day at the Circuit des Ecuyers on Saturday, followed by lunch and dinner at a historic château. The rally concludes on Sunday with a beautiful luncheon to celebrate the weekend.

Time seems to have paused in 1969. The eligible cars for the event are pre-war models, with a particular fondness for those from the 1950s and 60s. I want to extend my gratitude to the participants of the TOUR DE PRINTEMPS for embracing the spirit of these eras through their stylish and elegant attire.
